I love how beautiful and spontaneous it is! The colors are captured so very well, especially how the lights reflect the water. All of the hues really do pop out against the dark night sky like how the fireworks shoot up and explode like in the background. This scene reminds me of a carnival of sorts very whimsically as well as a new and futuristic cityscape with so many lights in celebratory in the new year that is arriving. Only at certain points in my dreams have I ever seen anything like this. You are very talented and I congratulate you for getting the Daily Deviation!
While I can't compliment you on the lovely architecture, I can compliment you on finding it! The photo is immaculately timed. The fireworks in the background look almost like flowers sprouting on the ground of a forest of buildings. This is a feast for the eyes, especially with the reflections on the water. Great capture!
I can't say I care much for the angle, though. It seems as if I'm getting a bit too much black sky. While it gives a nice break from the bright scene below, I think it's still a bit too much. It's almost as if there should have been an interesting object up there in the sky, but it never showed up.
While I too often see blurry or bleeding nighttime photos, this one, I'm glad to say, is perfectly sharp and clean. Really pleasing to the eyes. Any bleeding of the colors into the black sky would ruin this beautiful capture.
All in all, wonderful timing and such an aesthetically pleasing image!
